Why it's a strong pick

GoFullPage does one job: it grabs a whole page in one click. Its FAQ describes "advanced scroll capture", and the free Basic plan has unlimited screenshots. The trade-off is that editing tools are part of Premium, and very long pages can be split into several images.

What it does

Click the toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+P, and GoFullPage captures the page as you scroll. Per its FAQ, you can export the result as PNG, JPEG or PDF. Editing tools such as cropping, text boxes, shapes, blur and highlight are Premium features.

Key features

  • One-click full-page capture. Uses advanced scroll capture, per its FAQ.
  • Keyboard shortcut. Alt+Shift+P is the default in its open-source repository.
  • Export formats. PNG, JPEG or PDF.
  • Free Basic plan. Unlimited screenshots.
  • Optional Premium. Adds cropping, text boxes, shapes, emojis, blur and highlight, date and URL stamps and smart PDF page breaks. Check current prices on its site.

Who it's for

GoFullPage suits people who want a plain full-page grab without opening an editor first. If you need markup in the free version, compare FireShot or Awesome Screenshot. For a small region instead, see Lightshot.

Was GoFullPage removed from the Chrome Web Store?

Yes, for a while. Per its own blog, seen in search snippets, it was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 11 August 2026 over a copyright-related issue. The developer calls it an error, not a security issue. A post dated 14 September 2026 says it is back. Install only from the official listing.

Where are my screenshots stored?

GoFullPage's FAQ and blog say screenshots are processed and stored locally in your browser, not on GoFullPage's servers, and are not uploaded unless you move or share them. That is the developer's statement. Its privacy policy is at gofullpage.com/privacy, so read it before installing.

What permissions does GoFullPage ask for?

The developer says it requests permissions only when needed for a specific function, and explains that Downloads is needed to save screenshots to your downloads folder. We did not read the full current list. Check the install prompt for the complete list before you install.

FAQ

Is GoFullPage free? The Basic plan is free. Premium is paid and has a trial, so check current prices on its site.

Can it capture very long pages? Its FAQ says extremely large pages are split into several images.

Can I add notes to a screenshot? Editing tools are in Premium.

Good to know

On very long pages, expect several images. The FAQ says that when the number of images is large (10 or more), the capture may not complete. For those pages, capture in sections.

Before you install, open the Chrome Web Store listing and read the privacy practices tab and the permissions in the install prompt. Check that the publisher name matches the vendor's own site, and remove the extension if you stop using it, so it no longer has access to your pages. Our how we choose page explains the checks we use, and we do not show ratings or user counts because we cannot verify them.

Other screenshot tools to compare

GoFullPage is one of 5 picks in our screenshot tools guide:

  • FireShot: capture full pages and annotate them.
  • Awesome Screenshot: capture, annotate, blur and share.
  • Lightshot: quick region screenshots with in-place editing.
  • Screenity: record your screen with drawing tools (a video recorder, not a still screenshot tool).
